Location:

NGC 6723 is to the N of ε CrA, in the same field of view as it and γ CrA.



What You Should See:

With a diameter of 11 arcmin and a magnitude of 7, NGC 6723 is another of those large bright southern globulars. It is fairly loose at its extremities and looks as though it is about to resolve at ×37.
