Location:

NGC 6712 is 2.5° E of ε Sct.



What You Should See:

This 8th magnitude condensed globular cluster is an easy object, about 5 arcmin in diameter. It is in a very attractive star field in which you should note the different colours of the 7th and 8th magnitude stars in the little triangle at the NW of the field of view.
