Location:

Cr 70 is the cluster that almost everybody has seen and yet nobody knows! It is the cluster that includes the stars of Orion's Belt and σ Ori



What You Should See:

10×50 binoculars will reveal many tens of stars in the 3° expanse of the cluster, making this one of several objects that is significantly better in medium binoculars than in most telescopes.
